Together with her daughter, Ellen Mattheeussen spent a year looking for places that are slightly different, from adventurous tree houses and high altitude trails to luxurious hotels and beauty salons. She bundled all those places in the book "Uitjes & Nachtjes".
I helped Ellen shape her dream of publishing her own book. The sun and the moon featured on the cover and the pagination stand for the overnight stays (moon) and the excursions (sun). The titles and tips are in a script font to accentuate the personal character of the book. Because Ellen has not only tested the trips, she has also made beautiful photos and written reports. Her texts were slightly adjusted by Evi Hermans to make them easier to read.
